The 3-layer Premium construction is our most stable option for mixed groups of adults and children. It is more buoyant and sturdier under active play, making walking and moving around feel easier. There are no pumps, valves or inflation—just unroll, anchor and enjoy.

Use, anchoring and care

Suitable for lakes, pools, rivers and saltwater. Rinse with fresh water after saltwater use. Always secure the mat in sufficient water depth using the included tether and a suitable anchor. Anchor in open water, safely away from docks and other hard surfaces. Adult supervision is required; never dive onto or from the mat. If the ends curl after storage, briefly reverse-roll the mat before placing it on the water.

Float-Eh water mats have a clean light-blue side and white reverse. They are made from durable, UV-stabilized closed-cell cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) foam with low water absorption.

Integrated nylon mesh reinforcement helps prevent small cuts and tears from travelling through the mat. No pump or inflation is required.

Before getting on the water

  • Unroll the mat completely and inspect the mat, tether and anchoring point before each use.
  • If the ends curl after storage, briefly reverse-roll the mat before placing it on the water.
  • Use the mat only in sufficient, unobstructed water depth for the planned activity.
  • Attach the included tether to a suitable anchor in open water, safely away from docks, shorelines and other hard surfaces. Wind can push an anchored mat into nearby structures and cause injury or damage.

While using the mat

  • Children require active adult supervision. The mat is recreational equipment, not a lifesaving device.
  • Follow local water-safety requirements and use properly fitted personal flotation devices when appropriate.
  • Keep sharp objects away from the foam and do not drag the mat across docks, pavement, rocks or other rough surfaces.
  • Never tow the mat behind a boat or other motorized watercraft.
  • Confirm sufficient, unobstructed depth before entering the water, and never dive onto the mat.

After use and storage

  • Rinse with fresh water after use in saltwater or chlorinated water.
  • Allow the mat and tether to dry before rolling and storing.
  • Roll the mat securely and fasten the supplied storage straps.
  • Store in a cool, dry location away from prolonged direct sunlight, excessive heat and sharp objects.
  • Do not leave the mat on the water unattended.

This is a great quality mat! Don’t bother buying a knock off version they don’t work. This mat is three layers thick and was holding four eight-year-olds at one point! Also – it’s a bonus that this company is Canadian

My kids loved the foam water mat, slow delivery

My kids loved the foam water mat. We bought the medium and can fit 4 kids comfortably. They love hanging out on it and rough housing. I think however I should have bought a large or extra large so the kids can comfortably use it as teenagers. The quality is good. Delivery took several weeks from time of purchase (to a major Canadian city) so we unfortunately lost out on some cottage weekends.

Excellent purchase!

We did a lot of research with which brand to purchase and ended with Float Eh given they were a more local, Canadian-owned company. We purchased the 6x9 mat, which has proven to be the perfect size!! It easily fits 6-8 kids in the lake, we also purchased the carrying bag, which makes it so I can carry the mat by myself. This has been our favourite summer purchase.

Water Time

Great alternative for us, instead of a dock. Also way more fun than a dock. Our grandchildren love it, provides hours of water play. Easy set up, also found it easy to handle and put away.
