Canadians Really Do Float Too, Eh?

Summers in Canada are best spent in pools and lakes with our favourite toys; boats, inflatables, seadoos, water mats, rafts, etc. But what if all you needed to float was, well… yourself?

Nestled about 120 km south-east of Saskatoon Saskatchewan lies a lake where you don’t need any toys to stay afloat. It’s called Little Manitou Lake or better known as Canada's Dead Sea. Because the lake is fed by underground springs, and its salt water density is 3 times that of the ocean, it allows people to float naturally. So yes, Canadians really do float too.
